Theism and Naturalism    

This is not the ‘faith versus science’ debate.  Naturalism is not simply another name for science.  Instead, naturalism is a worldview like many other worldviews: it has a story of how we came to be, has evidence supporting it, and gives answers to those who hold it about what it means to live well in the world.   Theism is also a worldview with quite different answers to these same questions.  The real debate is about the evidence: which worldview does the scientific evidence best fit with?  Intelligent Design provides scientific evidence that fits very well with a theistic worldview but which seems to stretch to breaking point a worldview based on naturalism.
