Scientific Considerations

Intelligent Design (ID) claims that the natural and living worlds show clear signs of being designed rather than being the result of blind, purposeless forces. The claim that this is a scientific argument is frequently disputed, often by those who have apparently only read anti-ID works rather than engaging directly with arguments by ID advocates. We argue that ID does have a basis in science – once the blinkers of Naturalism [hyperlink to ‘Challenging Naturalism’ page] are removed. A robust case for ID being considered part of science can be found here [hyperlink to Peter S Williams’ article ‘A Reply to DA’s Critique’]
