DNA

DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the complex substance in all living things which carries genetic information and is central to how a living organism passes its life to the next generation. Its chemical structure was unravelled in Cambridge 1953 by the scientists Francis Crick and James Watson. But in solving the mystery of the chemical structure of DNA they uncovered a greater puzzle. What is the source of the highly complex biological information carried in the digitally-coded sequences of the base pairs in DNA? Intelligent Design (ID) argues that in our everyday experience functional information arises only from the activity of intelligent mind. The implication is clear: DNA is unmistakable evidence of a supreme intelligence which designed life to be as it is.
